Our Team
One Faith is developing an elder-led congregation. The pastors ("teaching elders") and other elders jointly shepherd and oversee the body of believers and the church’s ministries. The role of the pastors are to equip the saints to carry out the work of service in the church and to guard and preserve the truth being taught (Eph 4:11-12, Acts 20:20-29; 2 Tim. 1:12-14; 3:16; Titus 1:9-11).
At One Faith, all our pastors are called to serve in full-time ministry and fully-equipped in Reformed seminary, in order to build the church biblically according to the truth and teachings of Christ Jesus.
Ps. Simon Cheng
Lead Pastor / MDiv (AUT, Reformed Theological College)
Ps. Simon is the founding pastor of One Faith and has been serving as a full-time minister since 2016. He leads the church with a loving heart, committed to serving the congregation and encouraging everyone to grow in their faith in God. Simon has a deep passion for faithfully preaching God’s Word, especially to our Cantonese and Mandarin congregations. He also guides the church’s mission and works closely with our leaders and ministries to build up the body of Christ. Simon and his wife are blessed with three growing children.
Pinkle Naik
Preacher / BTh (AUT, Reformed Theological College)
Pinkle serves our services through preaching, encouraging brothers and sisters to grow steadily in their faith. He has many years of professional experience but remains steadfast in his commitment to faith. He completed a Bachelor of Theology degree while balancing other responsibilities, and together with his wife and adult children, has built a strong testimony. His professional experience has given him a mature perspective, and he serves our church with humility and gentleness.
Dr. Phillip Scheepers
Church Consultant / BA, BTh, MTh, DTh (University of the Free State)
Dr. Phillip is the Principal of the Reformed Theological College (RTC) and supports our church as a honourary consultant. With many years of ministry and missions experience across South Africa, the Arab world, the UK, and Australia, he has a heart for equipping churches for gospel-centred ministry. Alongside his work at RTC, Phillip offers valuable guidance to our leaders and ministries.
